The Best Way For Holding A Drill
Ordinarily you would hold a drill by its handle. There are however other ways to hold the drill as well.
Drill and drivers are both designed to be handled with comfort and minimal fatigue. When you are reaching down low or up high, these body positions will make it difficult to hold the drill in the usual way.
In these situations, it would be preferable to turn and use the drill upside down. Use your fingers to cradle the body of the drill or driver and depress the trigger with your index or middle finger.
This will keep straight-line pressure on the drill bit, for effectively drilling and driving.
For the optimal grip in a variety of positions, you can also switch to two-handed grip to drill or drive fasteners.
